A well-trained, professional, and caring staff is at the heart of GRMC. The highly qualified clinical and support staff allows GRMC to offer a wide-range of medical services including: rehabilitation services provided by a full-time physical therapist, occupational therapist and speech pathologist; a full-time registered dietician who is also a certified diabetic educator; a diagnostic imaging department that recently installed digital capabilities; laboratory services that handle a wide variety of testing capabilities; a full-time pharmacist and respiratory therapy staff; a nursing staff trained in chemotherapy, trauma care, obstetrics, fetal Doppler monitoring, newborn resuscitation and stabilization and advanced cardiac life support; a degreed social worker and a highly trained EMS staff.
The Goodland Family Health Center, adjacent to the hospital, houses the physicians' suites where four physicians and a nurse practitioner see their patients. The eight-suite physician clinic was part of a $1.6 million enhancement project that was completed in 1999.

From the first hospital in 1923 to today's facility, Goodland Regional Medical Center has a long and proud tradition of innovation and excellence in healthcare delivery to the citizens of Sherman County and Northwest Kansas. Goodland's hospital was one of the first in the nation to establish a certified swing bed program and was designated as one of the top 20 rural hospital in America. Goodland Regional Medical Center also received the Kansas Business Merit Award from the state Department of Commerce and recently received Community Connections Award from the Kansas Hospital Association.
