REQUIREMENTS //
- Annual membership fees paid
- Access to TeleHealth/ITV network (costs to implement ITV system are in addition to annual membership fee)
- Data submission: Cancer incidence and mortality and outreach program attendance
- Co-host on-site MCA events
Includes Community Partner member requirements listed above plus:
- Staffing: Dedicated program administrator; oncology trained nurse and back-up; dedicated full-time oncologist
- Chemotherapy administration
- Utilize KU’s Clinical Research Information Service (CRIS) software for MCA-sponsored clinical trials
- Waive to MCA Network Institutional Review Board (IRB) for MCA-sponsored clinical trials
- Oncologists participating in clinical trials must have volunteer faculty appointments with the University of Kansas School of Medicine
- Complete periodic site visits
MAJOR CLINICAL RESEARCH PARTNER ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES
Total Annual Fee is $100,000 per year (July 1 - June 30).The membership fee for an organization joining during the year is prorated by quarter. If a member is registered as a Kansas organization, the University of Kansas Cancer Center provides a match of up to 50 percent of the annual fee. Therefore the cost per year for a Kansas organization is $50,000.
