Tele-Oncology
Tele-video (ITV) based system for on-site patient consultations with multidisciplinary oncology teams at The University of Kansas Cancer Center and continuing education for professionals.
Patient Navigation
The MCA patient Navigator helps to promote awareness of patient navigation as a system by which a team of trained health professionals proactively guide patients through the community healthcare system to get the care they need. The MCA Patient Navigator helps communities build their own community-specific system of navigation while connecting them to regional and national resources.
Clinical Trials
Information about the latest research protocols including Phase I to III therapeutic and prevention trials. For Clinical Research Partner and Major Clinical Research Partner sites, the opportunity to enroll patients in MCA-sponsored clinical trials.
Comprehensive Research Information System (CRIS)
A secure web-based clinical information management system powered by Velos.
Network Institutional Review Board (IRB) Services
Centralized IRB services for MCA-sponsored clinical trials provided by The University of Kansas Medical Center's Institutional Review Board.
Outreach Programs and Events
Individualized prevention, screening, early detection, and survivorship programs and events co-sponsored by the MCA and member institutions. Based on a comprehensive needs assessment with each member.
Continuing Professional Education
Cancer-specific continuing medical and nursing education credits.
Networking Events and Conferences
Periodic meetings throughout the year focused on bringing MCA member oncologists and cancer care professionals together to learn from each other and share best practices.
Member Web Resources
Variety of online tools and resources including a searchable directory of physicians, nurses, and cancer support professionals associated with the MCA and The University of Kansas Cancer Center. KUMC log-in required.
Branding and Marketing Opportunities
